2017 Roster

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Amélie Bruneau (23, Laval, QC.) is back four her 4th year with the program playing a key support role for the team, and has been instrumental in the team’s success over the last few seasons.  One of the best technical racers on the team Bruneau shines in tight and twisty criteriums.
Ariane Bonhomme (22, Gatineau, QC.) had a stellar 2016 season winning the U23 National title for both the Road Race and the Time Trial along with the Pan American Team Pursuit title and scoring wearing the Best Young Riders Jersey at the Tour de Delta. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Catherine Ouellette (21, Montreal QC) Catherine joins the team from the powerful Rally Professional team, bringing with her a wealth of international experience despite her young age.  Second in the U23 Road Race Championships two years ago we are expecting this resilient sprinter to rebound in 2017.
Emily Flynn (24, Ottawa, ON) is one of the backbones of the program.  A versatile sprinter Emily is a leader for the team on and off the bike.  She’s a past Ontario Criterium Champion and was 2nd at last year’s Criterium Nationale OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Justine Clift (30, Vancouver, BC) a savvy veteran, Clift might just be the best non-professional woman in Canada.  Over the last three years she has a string of impressive results at some of North America’s toughest events, with top ten finishes at Northstar, the Tour of Utah and the UCI Gatineau Grand Prix.
Kinley Gibson (22, Edmonton, AB) last year Gibson took an emphatic win over Justine in a two rider breakaway at the National Criterium Championships.  So this year we signed her.  In addition to being National Criterium Champ Kinley is also the national Individual Pursuit Champion and won a Pan-American Team Pursuit Title along with Arianne. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Marina Aspen (20, Saskatoon, SK) Marina joins the team after a first year senior that saw her jump into elite racing with both feet, racing at BC Super Week and the UCI Cascades Classic.  A top ten finish at the Tour de Whiterock was a promising omen of things to come in 2017.
Sara Giovannetti (27, Mississauga, ON) Sara is far and away the least experienced rider on the roster- having started last season as a cat three.  By August however she was making waves, coming 2nd at the Ontario Road Championships and making the Next Gen time standards to become part of Canada’s Team Pursuit Program. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Suzanne Hamilton (28, Calgary, AB) Hamilton joins the team in a supporting role providing valuable horsepower on the racecourse and adding to the esprit de corps off of it. In just her third full year of racing Hamilton is poised to take some big steps.
Tara Whitten (37, Calgary, ON) despite a reduced racing commitment Whitten returns as a valuable mentor for this young squad.  A two time Olympian, Olympic Bronze medalist, three time World Champion, and Commonwealth Games Champion as well as a PhD, Whitten has a lot of experience to share.
